I build beautifully crafted stone landscape features that transcend art by serving a greater function. Whether it’s a patio for making lasting memories with your family and friends, or steps and a walkway that lead to a special place in your gardens, my goal is to combine artistic vision with old-world engineering and deliver stone features that will endure our lifetime and beyond.
Stonework has always been admired for its strength and permanence. The names of past masons are not what’s important, it’s our work that stands as a legacy and inspiration to future generations. My goal with anything I build is that one day, perhaps two hundred years from now, someone will stand there looking at my work and say, “Wow, look at how beautiful this is. I don’t know who the mason was that built it, but man, they knew what they were doing!”
I was taught how to build with stone by second generation Irish Stonemason Pat McAfee (along with some other great masons along the way). I traveled to locations in the US and Canada to intern for Pat and was privileged to work on some amazing projects including a double arch stone bridge. Today I continue to use the proven techniques that have been generously passed on to me as I explore the creative possibilities of using stone in the landscape.
I look forward to hearing from you and discussing your project.
